Now I love love to stump others with archaic and bizarre ones like FUBAR and SNAFU. I even make up new ones sometimes...eg FSR ITM et al

when newcastle poly were going to change there name when they got uni status, they were going to be called

City University of Newcastle upon Tyne

luckily someone "noticed".. and they went with Northumbria University instead.....
