Hello am just wondering what paperwork ect I would need to scrap a car

on the road to nowhere in particular

Fill in the appropriate part on the log book and send it off

Or sell it to a scrapyard and let them do the paperwork

You need a destruction notice off the scrap yard and you then send it to the D.V.L.A. to show it has been disposed of properly. don't let the scape yard send it make sure you do it yourself or you could be liable for a fine.

Depending on the car it could be worth a lot more than scrap if you break it down and offer parts from it for sale.

I agree the price of scrap is crap at the moment, I have a pile of scrap in my mot garage and I won't let it go until the price rises.
