Dunno about that ... Quite a fan of single malts and often treat myself to a nice 40 year but sometimes the price is a killer!!!

Lots of bourbon drinkers in this thread. While we still like Jack Daniels there are some really fantastic bourbons out there. Evan Williams Single Barrell is without doubt the best. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

I used to brew ma own cider and bitter, but don't have room in this flat. If I go to the pub I like a decent real ale. At home I drink cider and the only time I touch spirits is at Xmas when I get a bottle of JD and a bottle of Sambuca. Occasionally I'll get a bottle of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon
