Must confess to being curious about what people have done with their 'disgraced celebrity' mementos.

All those Jim'll fix it badges, autographs etc

Rolf Harris artworks/didgeridoos/signed sheets of ply.

Wonder what happened to Saviles' huge gold Rolex etc?

If you had any of these items would you bin them?

A friend if mine has a leaflet explaining the dangers if talking to strangers, with jimmy savile on the front, she posted a picture of it and nearly broke Facebook

If I owned such an item .......

I wouldn't want to get into the hands of anyone who enjoyed collecting sinister memorabilia...

If there was any monetary scrap value associated to the item , I'd scrap it and donate the value to a charitable concern .....

There is a museum in The Forest of Dean that houses lots of morbid memorabilia. Caught an episode of Four Doors?? and the owner was trying to sell a couple of KKK uniforms but no one would touch them. But I guess there is more of a private market for kind of thing

There's probably some sort of macabre "black" market for such memorabilia.

Nazi memorabilia being such an example of a certain type of buyers appetite for the morbid .
