Apparently she has been admitted to hospital suffering from severe flu like symptoms

I hope she has a speedy recovery ,,,,,

But I can't help but wonder what was about her that so transfixed John Lennon....

She remains such a very mysterious person for someone who is so iconic....

Maybe her mystery was what caught him in her spell, sure as hell couldn't have been her crazy arsed music!!

From what little I know of her she seems very charismatic and (huge generalisation alert) Japanese people can appear very mysterious and inscrutable to westerners maybe she was something of a challenge to him.

In all honesty I'd imagine that it's more that she was quite grounding for him rather than being someone extraordinarily.

Awwww don't sweat the small stuff honky-tonk......

Being interested isn't compulsory nor is being disinterested a sure sign your genetic blue-print lacks human DNA

Gonks are reputed to bring good luck to geeky students on quiz shows

Trolls live under bridges (or in my case a flyover)

A very interesting woman, always interesting seeing the dynamic between couples, as long as they made each other happy that's all that matters I guess

I don't find anything interesting about her. If she hadn't had a relationship with John Lennon she would have been a nobody. I find her art tedium itself.

Other opinions and celebrities are available

Did yoko split up the Beatles, or was it Linda McCartney, I wasn't really aware at that time, or possibly not born lol

I think them all having millions probably split them up. Difficult being in a room full of ego's when you can afford to do your own thing. P.S. I think she's talentless.

.

I don't think either did, there'd done 7 years and had gone through an amazing transformation experience!.

John was a very clever but slightly fucked up individual who constantly craved attention partly from his childhood experiences...

I think Yoko gave him something he'd never experienced since his childhood a non-attenstion relationship, it no longer centred around him.

His later life is a bit of role reversal where he stayed home bringing up Sean while she went out working, partying and having affairs, although he claimed he'd never been happier and his music literally showed it, the song beautiful boy was just a lullaby for Sean who'd been suffering nightmares!.... Sadly he never got to see him "grow up".

Lennon's last will is a very bizarre thing in its own right, leaving money between ono and Sean and a trust with the antiques dealer she'd been having an affair with!.

Swingers!! Who knows

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Who really knows what goes on in a relationship? Sometimes even the people in the relationship don't know.

He had mother issues. He wasn't great in his first marriage. Yoko was his 'one'.

"She was ( is) a massive manipulator ."

This

Apparently she set her sights on Paul first, but he was having none of it so she turned her attention to John.

As previously mentioned, John had mother issues and Yoko played to that. Cynthia no longer held any interest for him, and he'd already had lots of affairs and was bored of them.

She was the next "big thing" and John was easy prey.

She was determined to land a Beatle, despite claiming to have never heard of them, and she got her wish.

Correct as I have heard it;

McCartney was wiser and saw through her....

Lennon was more easily fooled and needy.

Yes, well he was a bit desperate circa shag by then I expect .....

For the last 20 years or so, he has been a rather ridiculous figure ; trying to show how cool he is, when he has lost the plot.

Cynthia, Yoko and Lennon were all art lovers!.

Cynthia got pregnant while living at Johns aunty's house if I remember correctly and they married shortly afterwards where by John bought the kenwood house in Surrey for about 20 odd grand which in the mid sixties when a terrace was about 300 quid weren't too bad for old Cynthia!.

I don't think Lennon ever declared he was anything but an imperfect human with flaws.... Just like all the rest of us
