Actually the French weren't there. The government just filmed it to make it look like they were and edited the footage so we had a scapegoat.

A man snatched a lady's bag in a shopping precinct and all but got away.

While getting away on foot, he collided with two young US MARINES who were out shopping and fell on the sidewalk.

He lost three of his front teeth, broke his left arm in three places, suffered a broken rib and dislocated an ankle. He also needed 3 stitches across his forehead.

Apparently the 2 Marines declined to press charges while the lady was happy to get her handbag back. She also did not want to press charges.

Foot and Mouth disease. The virus was 'allegedly'stolen from Porton Down months before it broke out.The government were stockpiling railway sleepers, tens of thousands of tons, and disinfectant too months before it'Broke out'here on a farm local to us.

Started deliberately to 'hide' more important goings on at that time etc.

Blue ear disease in pigs? That was next-where is that now?

Some sort of midge spreading 'smallenburgh disease in sheep(think that's how you spell it )-not heard of these last few years.

Every time something 'important' is to be 'hidden'from public knowledge-bring out another agricultural disease to air on TV.

Whatever next-they might even resort to the old fox Hunting debate /ban!!

Some conspiracy theories are true, some created to deflect attention from other things and the rest just reflective of human creativity.

Governments are masters of propaganda and use them all the time.

Also putting stuff out there into the domain of the conspiracy types tends to isolate it from the real world. These types tend to be self-restrictive, somewhat divorced from mainstream society - useful if you want to contain something.

It's unlikely we have alien shape shifters but I'd not dismiss everything.

The truth is out there.

I used to love a good conspiracy theory - firmly believed the moon landings were faked, that the CIA/Mafia/aliens killed JFK etc.

Don't believe the above, 9/11 or any other conspiracies really anymore. I'm actually really sad about that, as it made things much more interesting. That's not to say that surrepitious, underhand and immoral things are done by those with power.

There's some good books, including one called Voodoo Conspiracies that explain the psychology of them and try to debunk lots of them. Interesting stuff.

I don't think i'll ever understand the shapeshifters thing.

The main thing you need to understand really, to understand most conspiracy theories (the true and likely true ones), is that some people just aren't like you. They don't think like you, and they don't do what you'd do unless it's to fool people.

You also need to fully understand psychology, propaganda, political history, how words can be used to lie at the same time as telling the truth, manipulation of facts and data, what is lies already and why it's lies, and to change the way you've been brought up to think if you believe half the media tells you.

And learn what is important to focus on, like no-one who's serous about this stuff really gives a shit about triangles over the eyes.

"Do you beleive them or buy into them? Im not sure i do! The world is just to kaotic to control! "

There is no chaos. Only created chaos.

Most people are anarchists whether they choose to believe that or not. Most people would choose to live within the laws we made, despite us thinking we'd all have no morals without them - and it is thought the more freedom people have the less aggressive that society is. Most people actually choose to live their life in a peaceful way that lets us get on with doing what we want with relatively little damage to anyone else or the planet we live on. Most of us do not care obtain power or a position of power.

Unfortunately we have been taken over by the few fucked up people who enjoy power and control over others, even to the point where they are quite happy to dehumanise them, their lives don't matter and it's appealing to others who are not happy with themselves and work in a counterproductive way where they feel that making other less means they automatically become more.

And we're easily used because of our inate want to just live in peace, and our want to be compliant that starts from an early age.

If you look at who is creating any chaos, and why, then it becomes obvious that chaos is not our natural state and there is all kinds in motion to create it.

I can elaborate if asked questions.

Conspiracy theories in themselves are a conspiracy, shit out into the workday to distract us all from what corrupt corporations are really up to, if you create enough doubt, and divide the public, and enough people dig in the wring places the truth gets lost in the sea of bullshit, never to be found, so if you buy into it all you are a co-conspirator.

Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance.

I wouldn't consider myself as a conspiracy theorist as this was a term coined in the 70s to discredit people questioning the JFK assassination.

I consider myself a truther.

Sure David Ike may seem mad. But let's not forget he's has said an awful lot of things that have came true. Ie. his 1999 book with he states than in early 2000 there would be an attack on a major US city leadin to a war in Iraq, Yemen. Libya and Syria. He didn't mention Afghanistan as he couldn't foresee that. As afghan was only a steppingstone onto the area....

Dirty wars is a great eye opening doc....

9/11 is cut and shut for me. 3buildings collapsing at free fall rate caused by jet fuel. Hmmmmmmmm I smell pish..

Oh and for anyone interested in how far the lies go. Check out the leuchter report.. And just ask yourself why in a free society can we not talk about or question this time in history without fear of jail in 8 countries....

Also one coser to home. For anyone who has never heard about it. Check out the whole Hollie greig story........ Institutionalised peadophilia within the core of our society...

On then there is conspiracy of silence another great doc...

I believe the parents covered it up as there was no sign of forced entry plus the sniffer dogs smelt traces of a dead body and traces of blood behind the sofa and in boot of a car they rented. They also refused to answer police questions which just proves they have something to hide.

I think the McCanns are doing what I call the Butters Stotch ploy. It's when the parents cover up their child's death by lying to the police and the press saying their child was kidnapped by a foreigner.

You sound very naive. You probably think the police are just a nice bunch of people who want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Bollocks. They want to close cases as quickly as possible, fill in paperwork as quickly as possible, tick boxes and follow the process.

If you're ever unfortunate to be arrested and falsely accused, the first thing that will shock you is how quickly the police try and get you to confess to a crime you didn't do... that will shut down anyone cooperation levels.

I'm curious as to what really happened to Jill Dando.

Also Mike Smith...

It's curious with all the issues at the BBC. If you google it, there are quite interesting articles.

" They also refused to answer police questions which just proves they have something to hide.

No it doesn't. It just proves they don't think like you.

If I had a kid who went missing, I would answer all police questions. The McCanns didn't answer 48 questions. It just doesn't sound right.

It doesn't sound right to you, believe it or not, people are different and have different ways of thinking. Have you ever been in their situation? Have you ever been arrested and falsely accused of a crime?

No I haven't but if I were, I would not refuse to answer questions by the police like the mccanns did.

You sound very naive. You probably think the police are just a nice bunch of people who want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Bollocks. They want to close cases as quickly as possible, fill in paperwork as quickly as possible, tick boxes and follow the process.

If you're ever unfortunate to be arrested and falsely accused, the first thing that will shock you is how quickly the police try and get you to confess to a crime you didn't do... that will shut down anyone cooperation levels."

Thanks for the information but I'm just saying what I believe that the McCanns are not as innocent as they seem

I couldn't say either way. The only bit I objected to was the bit I quoted.

My experience of being falsely accused (a relatively minor crime) was being marched up to the desk and given two choices:

"You can accept a caution now, it'll take about 10 minutes and you can go. Otherwise we'll have to do a full interview and there won't be any rooms free for about 8 hours. So the choice is to sit in a cell for 8 hours or leave in the next 20 minutes".

It ain't fun being stuck in a cell for 8 hours with nothing to do, look at, read or even someone to talk to.

So would I cooperate fully next time - hell no.

It is what it is. I'd just like more people to know what they can expect if they ever find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. Neutrality is not high on the agenda.

It's probably wise not to make accusations of guilt, however sure you may be, unless you are prepared to be sued and pay up.

I find it highly suspicious that a large tin on peas is much smaller than a large tin of beans.....

There is something not quite right about that.... and its never been explained by anyone in authority .....

"Religion...now that whopper lasted a fair while...

Technically that wasn't a conspiracy,that was a belief.

In fact,it still is,and it's still killing people.

Although it is the very best whopper.

Religion does not kill. It is neither good nor bad. It is people that kill and choose to make religion either good or bad. "

That's very true,it's the people who manipulate religion,to suit their own ends.

Still many people are now dead,

due to that religious manipulation.

I love a good conspiracy theory but some of them are so laughable that it makes you wonder how they ever got thought up

I lost my job over it too which was fun. Fortunately (ish) one policeman helped clear me and I got it back. He didn't really have to, he just did as a nice thing to do. However, the majority of his colleagues were more concerned with closing the case as quickly as possible, which ideally for them meant getting me to admit to something I hadn't done. So there are some good individuals in the police, but it's a corrupt beaucracy run for the benefit of its workers, with justice as an occasional side product.

This is the unfortunate truth of the world we live in. Somebody with more knowledge of a situation will always try to manipulate others into doing their bidding. Humanity has it's pitfalls and will continue in the same manner, it would appear.
