When I was a kid we used to all go up to our house in the Adirondacks in NY. We would color a bunch of eggs with all of my cousins. On easter morning we would wake up and there would be huge easter baskets on the fireplace. We would open them. Then all my cousins would come over and we would have an easter egg hunt on our 3 acres of land outside. My parents would always hide one plastic egg with $5 in it, too.

Then church and a fancy easter dinner with my easter dress on.

little house on the praire

When we where kids it was going to church palm Sunday and getting your cross then making Easter cards.

Looking for wild flowers on the way home, painting eggs and blowing them.

When my son was little used to make a basket with Easter chicks in and as I didn't allow him chocolate he would get money or vouchers from the family and buy Lego.

Now as I don't celebrate I always have a house full of daffodils but that's more cause its the beginning of spring.

I only ever bought one person an Easter card in my whole life and I buy her one every year and that's my mum cause she religious

I probably made cards when I was young and at primary school.

Stoke area

My kids are teenagers, but I still do an Easter egg hunt. Nowadays they have to solve cryptic clues to find the next clue. After 8 or 10 clues hidden around the house and Garden they get to find their main Easter egg.
