at roundabouts and junctions.

Do you still do it when there are no other cars in sight?

Yeah... habit more than anything. I remember my driving instructor asking if I was indicating to the birds. Struck me as odd that you wouldn't. You can't see what's round the corner and pedestrians as well as other vehicles should be able to predict where you're going by your indications.

You should always indicate. Just get into the habit of doing it all the time regardless. One of my number one bug bears is people that don't indicate!

Always indicate, it's habit. I suspect those that don't when there's no traffic are the same that don't always bother when there is traffic around

I always indicate. You don't know if there is a pedestrian watching. It's just safer.

No; there is no point or need to indicate or give a signal if there is no- one to benefit from it.

However, you have to judge if another vehicle or cyclist or pedestrian will come into view who might benefit from the signal.

Always do and everyone should.

There could always be an unsighted pedestrian, cyclist etc. I walk a lot and it infuriates me when people come flying off the roundabout when I'm crossing/about to cross the road. And don't get me started on the chumps who don't stop at zebra crossings just because it's a quiet nighttime! Mega-arses the lot of them!

I am Asian or black so I don't need to indicate or even stop at pelican crossings

Here we go again

"I am Asian or black so I don't need to indicate or even stop at pelican crossings

You mean when black people only stand on the black lines of the zebra crossing and white people on the white ?

And then you can't see them ?
