Somewhere in North Norfolk

I haven't seen a film in ages.

I watched Zombeavers at New Year with a friend who is a zombie film nut. We knew it would be dreadful from the description but it had to be done. It's one of those 'so bad it's hysterical' films.

That was the last film I watched.

Before that... I can't even remember.

I watched The Shining for the first time ever. I'd only ever seen bits and pieces of it or caught it half way through. Amazing film. Not perfect by any means but I loved it.

by the big field

Saw love and mercy (Brian Wilson/beach boys biopic, Nightngale (blank and difficult but excellent acting), me, earl and the dying girl (great little indie film) a couple of months ago- all worth a look.

More recently I've finally watched Das Boot, over 3 1/2hrs of epic 80's German war based suspense- one of the best films I've seen in a long time

Completely agree - Das Boot is quality

Papillon - all time favourite (and the book)

Joy - Best film of the year so far

I watched legend last weekend, it was good but not as good as I hoped it would be. Last film I saw at the flicks was deadpool and I fell asleep through most of it (it wasn't that it was boring, if ever I need a nap the cinema is always the place to go!)

'Locke' with Tom Hardy is great. Just him driving and talking on the phone for 90 mins. Amazing.
