hope she gets a reward, if not form the shop she stopped the robbery on, hope the judge when it goes to trial gives her something, (Judges have the power to do that and have done so in the past)

if only more people had the courage to fight against crime we would live in a nicer happier place.

this lady deserves to be rewarded with a national award and is a fantastic role model that should be broadcasted worldwide.

doesn`t it make you feel great to be british.

I do hope she gets a reward, and I do hope one wasn't someone she knew, like her grandkid lol she'd be harder on him than the judge!

Noticed all the others pitched in and held the robbers after she had flattened them.

good for her.

we as citizens should do all we can to protect out community and fellows from attack or violence.

and if that means we have to take the law into our own hands so be it.

one thing i would point out is that because she was an old women the robbers thought twice about hurting her.

someone younger could have been hurt.

but this lady is an example to us all and should be congratulated for her brave stand.

yes i did when i stopped a robbery and injured the man committing the crime.

spend a few hours being treated like a criminal but was found to have used reasonable force.

and yes he did try to claim compensation.

at the time i asked myself why i bothered and then going through the court process.

and his friends saying we know where you live etc.

Maybe foolish, but she thought she had to do something, I bet those who did nothing feel a little embarrassed now, I would if I was one of them.
