People getting annoyed

See a lot of people getting annoyed and angry about rejection etc can't get a meet... Why does it effect someone's ego so much being told no ?? Does it really effect a person that much ?

I mean God I hear more no's than yes's but no point crying about, Just wondering everyone else's thoughts on the matter

Fortress of Solitude, Middlesex

Some people genuinely can't handle rejection. For some its an ego thing: they think they're the best thing since sliced bread hence the "your loss" bitter responses I've received back a fair few times.

For some they have not actually considered the other person has the option to say no.

Nothing as fragile as a male ego!

(*disclaimer - ladies and couples can also take rejection badly! )

Some people have a warped sense of entitlement. I blame the parents!

I sometimes wonder if they react in a similar manner in the "real" world! If they get told no or they can't have something. Would be interesting to see.

We're on a "sex site" which means we have an obligation to shag anyone who asks.

Otherwise we're fakes, timewasters, stuck up and the rest.

Being on a "sex site" means you can't say no to any offer of sex.

As far as some think, they want sex with me, they've done their bit, so what the hell is my problem?!

Some think I should be grateful for the attention.

Some contact me thinking they're in a "higher league" than me, but they've been turned down by women in their "league", and they want sex, so they lower their standards, expecting me to say yes. They tend to get really nasty if I say no.

Spoiled by their parents, some of them. I love denying these types of people! You can almost see the smoke coming out their nostrils!

I have a theory that people enjoy being annoyed. And I don't mean just people on fab - I mean people in general. It gives people something to think about, something to feel, and something to do.

Think about how often you use the word "annoyed" or some variation, each day.

I'm guilty of this myself but only after doing every thing I cam just to get someone to talk to me or treat me like a human being. I'm lucky enough to have had one meet, and still talk her. Fact is, a lot of women do actually come across as picky and stuck up. I've learned to deal with it now but it makes me question myself and batters my self confidence.

I've been a prick in the past about it but doing my best to turn things around. Would just be nice if I messaged someone, putting myself out there, if some would try and have a chat before deciding I'm not what they want. It may actually work two ways in that respect.

We feel very fortunate as we don't get ' rejected ' very often . And we do make initial contact as often as not ,

But when we do get turned down , we take it on the chin and move on . Simple .

But I will say that when we started this lifestyle some years ago , we weren't so ambivalent , and wondered what was wrong with us . That lasted for a month or so by which time we realised there were so many more who wanted to meet us

I see it in work all the time too, tell them they can't have something and they act like a baby throwing their toys out of the pram.

Sums it up nicely.

We've never seen it had this tbh.

When I was new to the site I used to send back a message asking what reason for my own knowledge. I never got a reply……now I realise why.

This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine at the moment hence my current status. I found married men the worsr as they don't just expect easy NSA sex but also expect you to go out of your way to help them cheat on their wife!!

Very occasionally I'll reply to why not messages. I'm always straightforward and honest but without being intentionally rude or insulting.

Often it's a case of simply pointing out the ways that the person doesn't match my profile, pointing out they clearly either didn't read or decided to ignore the profile and that they could have saved themselves both the effort and being turned down.

The truth doesn't seem to be what people want in response to why not messages because I invariably get a barrage of abuse back.

Well, they did ask!
