Quick question, how many people on average a week do you block? We seem to be blocking more and more lately.

I currently have none on mine but I'm not into getting into the heavily debated threads on here or take any of it too seriously. I have filters on so can only be contacted by people that I want to be contacted by which stops the wrong type of message coming through. So for now it's all good.

We don't really block many people I certainly wouldn't block someone because of what they post on forums, most of the time they don't live nearby or we/they wouldn't contact anyway.

I rarely block first, usually counterblock those I notice have blocked me. Not very often. Once every month or so on average

We use filters too and don't like to block, when people won't take no for an answer we don't feel we have any other choice but to block.

Not that often, mainly block fakes with pictures taken from porn sites or an odd person who have crossed the line.

Very rarely need too, occaisonally the odd over zealous bi guy who sees my straight identification as negotiable, but i think it is more of an issue for couples and single women.

I use chat and block lots from there. I probably have more than 300 on my block list & it gets added to, as often as I go in chat.

Done that before, though that isn't as embarrassing as sending the accidental friend invitation when i really meant too add them too my hot list.. its an almost guaranteed conversation killer .

I frequently block people, in fact most days i block at least one person. It's usually when they get abusive with me cus we don't want to meet them. I also block people on the forums who write things i disagree with and who have sent me mail being nasty cus i have disagreed with them ... now i tend to block people before they get the chance to messege me.

the most blocking goes off in the directing xhat rooms by men on cam and a lot dont like tgirls viewing them so if go in there and look at cams i mabe blocked loads of times so i dont bother with it x yes blocking is there for a purpose and i use it too lol

Yes that's right, I am the author of number one horror DEAD BLOCK

You see it's about a person on a forum that is a bit of a 'blockey bastard' and has a huge block list.

Only...

One by one each person on the block list is murdered in various sexually perverse ways. The blocker becomes prime suspect as the murderer and has to fight to save their name and liberty with the help of a team of time travelling detectives (one is a monkey and one is a transvestite). Can they prove the person is innocent? and can they find out who is killing everyone in very furiously fucky ways all of the forum members that are blocked.

AND!

Who will be next to be DEAD BLOCKED!!!

Last one I blocked as a pester I tend not to block unless they don't take no for an answer or on the odd occasion become threatening than it's a report too!

I block people whom I think post distasteful and bigoted posts in the forum persistently. Do I achieve anything? No. But it's my way of distancing myself from people like that in my personal and private life.

Probably one a week, if that.

I've found it best to block everyone from messaging, add your meets to your profile, then add anyone you wanna chat to as friend, or send them a message first. Take filters off when bored, find a few more guys to chat to, put filters back on.

Don't need to block anyone really because everyone is blocked most of the time.

In the spirit of one of our previous posts re. multiplicity of repeat threads:

The only people we've blocked are obvious fakers apart from one recently where a couple on our friends list kept sending us a message which was obviously a template they send to many people. We found it insulting. We'll probably unblock them soon.

Tbh, we regard blocking as cowardly, if you can't debate or take criticism don't partake in the bear pit.
