In the past I have had sex with people I didn't find at all attractive because I wanted intimacy and attention.

It didn't make me feel good about myself, didn't give me what I needed and, ultimately, did me more harm than good, so I stopped doing it.

I chose celibacy for a while until I'd sorted my head out.

Now I only have sex with people if I find them attractive. However, that attraction can be based more on who they are than on how they look.

I'm coming more round to this way of thinking. It's becoming increasingly difficult for hubby and i to agree on guys. Often the ones he is ok with me meeting i don't feel that attracted to physically. The ones I'm attracted to he doesn't seem to like so a compromise may be in order if a meet is ever going to happen....
