Soft lighting such as candlelight or lamp light. As i like to see all the delights that are coming my way. To me visual stimulation is a big turn on.

Definitely not a 100 watt bulb shining in my eyes, would feel as though I'm being interrogated by the Gestapo.

Lights on is my preference, the visual stimulation is also a great part of the intimacy, soft mood lighting is great

But Off for zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.. (But it can also be fun in the Dark too..)

In the main...lights on but just sometimes its nice to play slowly in total darkness..just to shut off that one sense.

It's kinda cool..you cant see where your touching or being touched so have to let other senses guide you. You have to pay more attention to the sounds and movements a person makes..yeah...its just different i suppose now and again

Then third option would be to leave the lights on (not too bright, as already suggested) and one of you wears a blindfold. That way, the senses are heightened for the blindfold wearer and there's no fumbling around in the dark for any 'accessories'.
