For me it's because it's the range I'm most comfortable with. But if someone I really liked contacted me outside the range at either end I wouldn't reject them out of hand.

Most of the people I meet or would like to are within my parameters. There's just one or two I'd entertain outside.

Because some people look down their noses at those who keep the site standard 18-99 age range.

Age to me is just a number of there's attraction and spark then so be it xx personal preference at the end of the day just like everything xx

Yes, it's a general rule of thumb as to the type of persons I might be interested in, but it's not usually something that crops up in conversation in a club ....

"What ? You're xx ! But that's one year outside of my age preferences! I'm sorry, but I just can't have sex with you now !"

Lower limit of 25, as experience has taught me that if I'm contacted by a lady younger than 25, it's invariably a bloke pretending to be a woman (don't ask me why!)

A couple of years outside maybe but I wouldn't change my age range for that reason and in a club I wouldn't ask how old someone is more rely on what they look like

I agree whole heartedly, I dont block people from messaging me outside the ranges, its just a guide. Its the individual that I attracted to, not the age, body shape or preferences

Trying to find women my age has been a challenge for years. All my ex girlfriends have been much younger than me which is not a great thing at all. I'm looking now towards slightly older women. Can't find the balance of crazy nàive (younger) and crazy set in their ways (older)

Seriously though, I wasn't aware that the OP was gender specific when inquiring about meeting outside your preferred age range. I just gave my reasons for doing so. And I have had a few out side my range message me with a view to a meet, but would not say I'm inundated with messages full stop

On a person by person basis, yes. If I got on with someone at a venue, I would not ask their age. And if later I saw their profile, I wouldn't change my mind either.

People tend to put an age preference on as that's what's in their mind at time of doing the profile

Same as people an age of themselves

Have met loads who are not the age they say they are

Who cares

If there is an attraction it doesn't really matter does it

I was just asking as was interested to know on a personal level whether a male received more than female for having wide/no age filters that was all

It's not that likely but can happen. My preferences are just that and change from time to time, as does the listed preference. I know myself better than anyone else, so I'm in the strongest position to know if something works for me, so am amazed if people who are extraordinarily different to what I've stated assume that they'd somehow fit my tastes.

age is a guideline and we used to get a LOT of post before we hid the profile, limiting the age helped slightly.

As a general rule, yeah, the people we play with are in the ages specified. There's one younger guy we like but we met him off Fab, as it happened.
