My mum's network signal went off 2 days ago, according to EE website it could take up to 14 days to sort it.

Her contract runs out in may.

Is she legally entitled to tell them she wants out now?

Without reading the contract not sure, but I would expect there's a very strong case for saying EE haven't fulfilled their contractual obligation if they can't provide the service she signed up for.

Has she tried calling them?

Shes just doing it now. I told her they will try to get out of it but to stand her ground.

The service is not fit for purpose so she can get out of it no matter what they tell her.

Chams or Socials

This happened to me over Xmas 2014 6 months into 24 month contract. They lost a major mast in the area & replaced it with 3 smaller ones.

I got 2 months credited to account & a free signal booster box that should have been £100. I kept a list of everyone I spoke to & the times I spoke to them.

Read through her contract very carefully as they are normally watertight.
