Do people prefer a profile that's full on or leaves a little mystery?

Personally I think I prefer a little mystery.

There's mystery and then there's 'will fill in later'. One person's intriguing is another person's TMI.

I've no time to chase after people trying to access the sort of information required to capture my attention in the first place..

No one is that special.....

The way I've done mine is mystery in terms of pics but pretty much described me and what I like in terms of text. No idea if that's a good balance or not!

Yes , laziness by saying next to nothing is pointless .

On a different note , we love your avatar

If I want mystery, i will watch the X-files.

Up front and honest profiles are the only ones that attract my attention.

Thank you. I've flip flopped it again being an avatart but I think that one might make a reappearance at some point.

Well I don't need their life history, but in my mind if people don't put a smattering of effort into a profile I surmise that they may be equally lazy in other aspects.

Single guys who write short threadbare profiles do themselves no favours, but do ask others on the forum for help...who then do them favours by suggesting what to write.

A little bit of mystery is good but I equally like to see a well thought out profile with some relevant info so I semi decide if they might float my boat or not!

Let's be totally honest here...

Interesting view from different angles.

I do prefer ones that tell people what they like but leave a little mystery instead of the cliché "ye am guna smash u ard and make u scream" profil . Which I've seen a few like tha .

What about the erotic mystery type profiles?
