It's not a funny answer but I've always liked the name Jessica, even when I was a kid. No idea why though. So, Jessica and I'd keep my last name.

I did change my name......

I was called Anthony by my parents and it stuck while I was at school....but I found rock climbing and started to get called Tony which I liked better.

Even my mum sometimes calls me Tony now

I like my name but I use my first name and my middle name so there's a capital in the middle. There's no hyphen or a space... it's just stuck together but it really gets on my nerves when people spell it wrong. Especially on email when it's in the address and my signature.

I'm adopted and my *spit* paternal gave me the name Catherine. My parents liked it so decided to keep it but have me the middle name angharad. When I found out that the parternal side was a very bad man I struggled with my first name but now all's good cos I relise I have always been Catherine to my parents and that they chose me and love me. My actual name is so seventies it's painful. I go by the male diminutive version of it as well, which tends to surprise people when they meet me after an email exchange. If I wanted to change it I always fancied being a Cordelia after a bit in Anne of Green Gables but I don't think I could pull it off, plus it sounds way too posh for me.
