What's your definition of "Classy" or "High Class"?

And how do you feel if someone describe herself as such?

I have only ever seen such terms being used in ladies' profiles, never gents'.

if someone wants to describe themselves as classy or high class.... it's upto them.

it will appeal to some reading it and possibly put others off.

classy would appeal to me, high class definately not..

To me, it is like decribing oneself as beautiful or handsome, makes me cringe!

I have only come across one gent whose description matches the person, and he is rather yummy!

Class is definitely discernible and not something you can aspire to. In the swinging world when someone describes themselves as "classy" then I perceive them to mean "of a certain quality" rather than the bawdry type.

Of course swinging is a fantasy to some, a secret life, and as such we can be whoever or whatever we wish to be and it can be an outlet to "play the whore" when in reality we are usually very different.

Im undecided over the describing yourself as classy or beautiful thing. One one hand it can be seen as arrogant and it usually irritates others, on the other hand swinging is the place to throw away all caution to the wind and fulfil whatever fantasy you wish to. If you wish to call yourself beautiful and you personally believe you are, no-one else has the right to disagree because its a personal thing and others have not been asked for their opinion on it

If I see the equivalent in a gent's profile, it would put me off meeting him, as I would think "what a dickhead"!

lol lol lol - to be perfectly honest Pearl I would to, like I said part of me agrees that you should be proud of yourself and be happy within yourself, but when I actually see it in print it makes me think along similar lines as you do

It's not something that worries me really... I have a friend who's ultra posh, she's been well brought up, speaks very well and she has class by the bucketload. She'd never describe herself as classy and that's the difference.

"Classy" ladies are particular who they play with.

You don't see the term used to describe blokes, simply because they don't usually give a flying fart who they play with.

You've only got to witness the behaviour in clubs or parties. I don't think I've ever seen a bloke refuse an approach from a lady or a couple to join them, but I've seen plenty of ladies rebuff an approach from other third parties.

Class doesn't equate to looks either

In my opinion it's a persons overall demeanor, presence, dress sence etc

Now, if you want to meet a classy bloke........ a'hmm

Someone who is well off and knows how to dress is high class, someone who is stylish, are often referred to as classy dressers
