Got into filter coffee because of this site so felt the need to share.

I've payed a small fortune thinking I was getting good coffee then picked up a bag of Ikeas own while in the queue.

Payed something like £1.70 and it's amazing!

Feel free to prove me wrong. P's Your welcome!

on the road to nowhere in particular

Every now and then TK Maxx has some Jamaican blue mountain hidden in among the other blends. If it we on sale anywhere else it would be around the £25 mark

I'm a real coffee snob.

Ikea stuff is surprisingly good. Aldi do have some crackers.

Lavazza is pretty good.

I get a fortnightly delivery from Pactcoffee online. It's freshly ground and posted out that day.

It's amazing.

IKEA has great meatballs , not tried their coffee .

But yeah - you should vary what you drink - diff brands. My fave is currently at 3.50 a pop, so I decided to only buy when 'reduced'. Fair trade stuff is ok , but they're just the same..

Considering it was only 2.70 a few years ago - that's like a 40 odd percent rise in say 5 years. Or 8% annualised.

Guess coffee gone up on commodity markets. wish I could go back to instant but that's a bit gash

Read this yesterday that Pope Clement VII was asked to ban coffee but after drinking it said "... so delicious that it would be a sin to let only misbelievers drink it."
