Oh that is sad news. I still haven't read Go Set a Watchman because I wasn't convinced she'd wanted it published.

It's one of those books that changed attitudes ,,,,,,,

I'm am so grateful too have read it at a time in life where it helped influence my future ...

I was in danger of turning into militant black guy when I was at school, and one if my teachers gave me a copy of to kill a mocking bird, my daughter now has it, and when he's pjs enough my son will hopefully enjoy that very same copy.

I think you'd appreciate To kill a mockingbird - though I acquired my adoration as a teenager, it's a _iew I still hold today. My great aunt who's in her 70s is just reading it for the first time now and she's way more cultured than I am.

It changed the thinking of generations and like a few have said, it probably helped a little in teaching me about morality
