My turn to be shat on last night and especially annoying as they initiated the meet, kept emailing up until the last minute and then didn’t turn up so a completely wasted six hour round trip!

I think it would be in everyone’s interests if dross like that should at the very least be named in an easily accessible No-show Blacklist so people can know in advance who the tossers/fakes are on the website. Feasible?

Obviously it didn't happen but do you are his easy it would be to abuse a list like that? Your word against mine and no prove it didn't happen.

People would use it to get at people that may have I'll feelings towards, someone who knocked them back etc so it is a really bad idea.

The main and constant problem would be verifying who was telling the truth.

Say I arrange to meet but don't bother turning up however I swear I was at the meeting point and the other person wasn't. Who decides who's telling the truth?

I agree that the black list thing is a bad idea.

But let the guy vent his frustration as he just wasted 6 hours.

anyone would be a bit ticked off, hes just sharing his frustration at what happend as its probably the only place he feels he can and hopes theres others who have experienced the same.

No, not feasible.

I'd suggest not agreeing to do a 6 hour round trip for total strangers in future.

I'd never travel that far for someone I hadn't met before.

* Don't put yourself in a situation where if someone doesn't turn up, you'll be upset. So don't travel 100s of miles and book into a hotel in the expectation of meeting someone unless you've met them beforehand.

It's the chance you take when meeting someone from here. Sadly there are some fucked up people who like giving others the run around,or get off on the talk and pics but don't actually want to meet. A list wouldn't help anyone,it would be as easy as deleting your profile and starting again,to get around it.

It's way better to just let people in your area know about them , and tell anyone who will listen when you are chatting .

You'd be surprised how many of these people in our area have left the site as a result of the grapevine .

It's the only way you can do it , and hopefully make a difference .

People like them are the bane of the site .

What if she turned up and didnt fancy you theres no obligation to go through with sex. Thats why i always have socials first and meet locally. That way what have a i lost? Gained a lovely coffee and 20 mins to myself though.

Site owners have said (on another thread) that 'naming and shaming' will never be allowed. Report the profile, using the 'arranged a meet and didn't turn up' option, and leave it to the Admins to deal with.
