I have Kodi installed on my Kindle Fire TV Stick, phone and tablet. Its brilliant.

Look out for the Beast install and you'll have everything you need. Can't understand why you'd order and pay for a box though as its actually a free program.

I have kodi but using the build/version before the beast.

I get all the movies, tv shows and sports channels I ever need through the genesis, phoenix, sports devil ect add ons.

can I ask what features or improvments does the beast build do thats different please?

I just dont want to change build unless its necessary or worth it.

as the saying goes the fix what isn't broken.

Is there a "jail-broken" one that pretty much gets everything?

It's a free program to download that you can configure yourself. Use a laptop or desktop PC; then watch a few of the setup guides to get whatever you want to watch.

Best thing I bought was my kindle fire stick once I'd installed kodi (can't believe people pay extra to someone to have a free programme installed)

The only issues I've had with the stick is it reset it's self and I lost all my add ons.

Haven't found a good sport add on yet, movies again hit and miss at times.

Porn however is amazing the best so far has been ultimate whitecream it has loads of smut on it.

hiding from cock pics.

We bought a kodi box last week.

We are really enjoying it although we are still working out how to use all the features, and what the best apps are for it.

One thing we haven't yet worked out is how to record Freeview channels so if something is on say Channel 4 how we can save it to watch it another time, as we are used to having that function with a Sky box. Is that possible?

Does a Kindle Fire stick do the same as an Android box?

"Does a Kindle Fire stick do the same as an Android box?"

You can install an xbmc build on a firestick. Ask Google for instructions.

I've just set it up myself - I've uploaded onto Amazon Fire stick and Apple TV all works well.

I use the new (jan 2016) power wizard power build. Works a treat and has every movie and sport plus thousands of tv programs from around the world. Too much to list really. You need a decent (10meg) download speed but we have 35meg for 17.50 per month which pisses on sky. We used to have sky and we were paying £52 per month and we didnt get half the content we have now.

"Is there a "jail-broken" one that pretty much gets everything?"

Yes I jail broke my Apple TV - you can upload a preconfigured programme with selected add ons installed. (You can still add to this)

Alternatively you can just individually upload

I would suggest the preconfigured as these generally have the most popular add ons that work well

Will digital TV subscription companies try to ban them eventually, as they must be losing many customers?

I believe it is fully legal to use the streaming devices so I'm not sure what grounds they could have.

You will find that different Movie streamers disappear from time to time or certain listed features sometimes stop working but they soon move location and the boxes auto update. Until they find a way of policing the whole interweb I can't see Kodi boxes becoming useless.

Got one. A supposedly decent quad core one. It's not great. Instead I've installed kodi on my pc, wired network, hdmi to big TV, pc running sound through amp and speakers.

Performance, sound and picture much better. Android box now just sat in a drawer.

Can you upload it directly from a smart TV app or do you still need a fire stick a laptop or box?

Some smart TVs have their own operating system and apps. Some have android (but not many) and these *may* allow you to install kodi.

Installed it on my firestick last summer its brilliant to be fair I generally use Genesis, Pheonix and Sports Devil but as someone mentioned up top Pheonix seems to have gone downhill and sports devil too so if anyone can recommend a more reliable sports app for it id appreciate it

Never tried it but I imagine you'd have to side load it from a laptop/pc but it would depend on the operating system

We have never had much luck with them

They seem to work for a few days and then just slowly lose all of the available channels and most of the channels either stop working or suffer bad buffering all the time

hiding from cock pics.

We are here right now trying to install the Beast we got as far as what seemed like the final step but it wouldn't accept the pin that I had from registering with the site that provided the links and everything.

I'm just slightly worried as it says beware of force closing apps as well as it can damage your box and if we completed this install we would have to force close.

Can anyone advise me on a really good atom system that doesn't involve a force close if there is one.

Thanks x
