"dropped my iPhone 6 down the toilet tonight. Screen went funny it's now in a bowl of rice. Any advice " If poss take the battery out and leave it open somewhere warm, as someone has said in a heated airing cupboard...also don't turn it back on AT AlL until you are sure it is completely dry inside not just outside. If you turn it back on it may well short-circuit.

"And as its an Iphone isnt the previous advice to remove battery, take off covers etc to improve drying process also not possible? Most of the previous advice given is good, airing cupboard etc, you can also see if you can find some dessicant bags (often used in packing), then seal the phone in a bag with the dessicant bags, they will absorb the moisture and dry out the phone. As for my flippant advice earlier, sorry (I just always see Iphones as overpriced and overhyped and mostly a marketing gimmick to make people pay 3x what they should), I have a motorola that cost about 25% of the latest Iphone and pretty much does the same job with very little functionality difference, possibly better in some areas, and its waterproof, though I have never felt the need to throw it down the pan to experiment in that way). " Ooh the little things you find in shoe boxes and handbags?
