Need WiFi to re-install kik and other apps.. Got a dongle for laptop.

Will.it work if I connect phone.

Or do I have to wait til I'm in a wi-fi zone?

I'm not aware of laptops being able to act as a "hotspot" so you will have to wait until you are in a WiFi zone.

It works the other way with most phones though - ie your laptop can go online through your phones internet connection.

Do you have data allowance on your phone? If so and have a 3 or 4 g signal you should be able to connect through that

you should wait til you get constant wifi...

otherwise you will have to keep stopping and starting

You just have to chabge your settings on the app store and it will download without wifi x
