It's our first social next month and wondered how people dress at these events.

Don't want to be overdressed or underdressed (well maybe after).

Do men tend to wear jeans, smart/casual or suits

A rabbit outfit would be perfect for a spring social.

Seriously anything smart is acceptable.

The socials that I've been to I've worn jeans and a shirt. I think of it like going on a date and dress accordingly, smart casual in the best way forwards I find

All socials we have been are just that. Socials. It's like going to the pub with dirty conversation and sexy peeps lol so we dress smart casual

"Where is the social? "

It's the Newcastle Social, think the numbers are up to 367 at the moment but are pushing for the 400 mark.

Sounds really good, they've hired a nightclub for the night and it's all free

Ah, I'm not familiar with it. But I would dress appropriately for the venue. If it will be in a nightclub, I would dress as I would for a nightclub.

The socials I've been to have been in pubs, so probably more casual than you're looking for.

Have fun!
