I've still got the letters and notes and cards from my childhood sweetheart, that I've kept for over 30 years, I think it was the only time in my life that I was completely consumed by love, before life and bad choices, and bad relationships kicked the romance out of me, it had an innocence that let me be brave and reckless with my heart, allowed me to just feel fully, and wholly, without holding back, without fearing the pain that I've since git to know so well, those love letters are the ones worth keeping, the ones that matter

I'm used to have a big bundle of them from the same person tied up in blue ribbon and I still don't know what's happened to them I know ive seen them while I've lived here
