Having Italian blood, it could only be the Vespa. I'll never forget going back to Sicily during the summers and every evening, seeing literally hundreds of people congregating every evening in the piazza or the lungomare on their Vespa. Proper summer holiday vibes

Back in the 60s some ladies rode them side saddle but no not as a rule both feet either side on the foot plates. Tbh there are some very big muscle bound men that ride scooters and you will even find a lot of squaddies do as well

You should I was without one for the best part of 20 years as the kids were growing up , got an unexpected bonus a couple of years ago so bought myself a T5 MK1 Vespa , looking to get a lammy next though ??

As I remember from my Rocker days in the 60's, they both made an equally good bonfire - or both sank equally quickly in the canal....

Vespa! Had a Rally 200 back in the day, whip Ariel's, racks, lights, mirrors, the full works. Parka, Staypress, sat forward, knees into the panels, ATTITUDE!! Brilliant!

That said, just pondering one of the new Royal Enfields at the mo..

You should of been on the Isle of Wight for the bank holiday Pocket! We were inundated with them and that was all you could smell was the two stroke!

Vespa SS 180 bored out to 200 is the one for me !!

She has been sat in the garage and hasn’t been ridden since the day I passed my driving test 18months ago. Seemed pointless to keep her any longer
