My first love shattered my heart into a million pieces and I thought the world had ended at the time but now look back and cringe rolling my eyes. Painful but a lesson most have to go through. Be nice to see her now we're all grown up and a little more grounded.

First real love shattered me too..getting your head around "i love you but don't know how" is a killer....i survived......still in touch and actually get along as she is ex-wife and mother of my beautiful daughters.

Lost track of him for 20 years, as i moved to Scotland and we both carried on in different directions.

Then 3/4years ago we re-connected again out of the blue.

We chat regularly, usually for hours lol we still have a good chemistry.

Not managed to see each other yet because he lives in the South of France, etc...

But that's defo on our to-do-list this year... Will be nerve wrecking meeting him after 25 years lol

He's my ex-husband, and since we share custody of our kids, we speak regularly, but only about the kids or extended families.

Once the kids are grown and gone, I can't see us keeping in touch.
