Been a while since I was on here, kind of lost the confidence for meeting from here.

Anyone ever had that ? Advice please

Why not just meet for a social first then? A drink in town in a bar or pub with no expectations. Then take it from there and see what happens?

Maybe start with a social meet? If it's someone you get on well with you will feel more at ease.

I suffered with a massive lack of confidence both within myself and the site, that's why I now just meet in clubs.

I'm always made to feel welcome, there's lots of different people to chat to and I enjoy using the facilities, plus I know I'm safe if anything goes wrong.

That been said I know clubs aren't for everyone.

You say you've busted chams go but without any intention of playing. Perhaps you can find some ladies from the site can meet you there for a purely social evening and ease your way in slowly

I'd be up for a coffee and a chat, I'm out if your age range but being as its only a social, why not, its hard when you lose confidence, when you doubt yourself its hard to imagine that others don't doubt you too, but I bet your awesome really, you just forgot to tell yourself that.

Not sure what has caused your loss of confidence.. like others have said go at your pace , try a social either coffee or drinks to an organised social.

I think a "girls' night out" social thing is a good idea. You could ask the ladies you go with for tips of guys they've met that were decent and the ones to avoid. Then you'd be armed with reassurance that a recommended guy is safe when you decide on the first onE to meet.

Thanks all,

I don't know where my loss of confidence came from, it just sort of disappeared !

I was having a great time meeting for socials, I went to chams a few times and had some great meets , I just need to get back into the 'swing ' of things ( excuse the pun lol. )
