He's a philosopher and in theory he has many genuine and humane ideas. Sadly the political stage isn't about being kind and genuine.

" He's a philosopher and in theory he has many genuine and humane ideas. Sadly the political stage isn't about being kind and genuine."

It's about sound bites and PR.

I don't doubt the merits of his intentions

But he's caught between a rock and a hard place......

He's not responsible for the actions and inactions of the last labour administration..... but his arguments lack practicality and are easily deconstructed into ineffectual components that underline the weakness of his credentials to lead a nation....

You're quite right Soxy. Sadly modern politics is all about hard cash and deals. The concept of ideals and a nicer place aren't really on the agenda. Corbyn needs to get a bit nasty...maybe wear a revolver in his belt or a dictators beret?

Sounds like a good plan.... he does has a touch of the gaucho about him..

Perhaps he should nonchalantly chew a toothpick and start leaning on the dispatch box with a jaunty gate and periodically rub his scrotum against Yvette Coopers face .....

Which is a shame because, let's be honest, provision of social housing is definitely one area where DC needs a swift kick up the bum, rather than them all playing to the house and congratulating themselves on some witty soundbite

Mr ddc

It should be about being genuine though, they're asking us to make choices (vote) based on what they tell us.

Yes dress Corbyn up as Citizen Smith, worth a good laugh if nothing else.

I'd rather support a party leader who is a genuine person, has principles and conviction rather than a shiny oppurtunist who wants power and money. Go Corbyn!

Bravo to MP Iain Stewart for raising a question about apprenticeships though

I'm not sure who I'll vote for next time - and didn't at the last election. But Corbyn is definitely someone decent and ethical, unlike the pig man he faces.

His arse will get better in time. Cameron, however, will always be a cunt.

A decent and ethical politician! That's a contradiction in terms to me. There's just different degrees of bad...
