I guess that depends on your view of tacky... I have two pictures that everyone else thinks are hideous... they were from home and on the wall when I was wee. I can't remember the name of the artist but I think they are probably hideous.

I completely forgot, but I actually have a Tat Collection.

2 wall-mounted, glass-fronted boxes of toot from around the world.

Highlights? include:

* a luminous green plastic Statue of Liberty snow globe

* A wide selection of Catholic toot (they really know how to make plastic look cheap)

* Copper boomerang from Oz

* Hideous Irish leprechaun

* &c &c...

It's all arranged and labelled like a museum exhibit lol

I was in the West Bank in the mid-70s, and spotted many prints of that young boy with the big tear on his cheek. I asked why this tacky image was gracing so many living room walls... It was used to commemorate/represent the many children that had died. Major faux pas.

I don't like to think... I was given a clip frame full of dirt, dust, grit. I reframed it, sealed it with superglue (probably asbestos, heavy metals and bits of human) and got rid of it.

Perhaps placing two of them together would reduce the assault on the eye...... I know that might sound nonsensical but sometimes increasing the shock lessens the impact..

Here are the Rutland entries

Green sylvac rabbit

2 plastic wind up meerkats

A wooden thing to put your glasses on in the shape of a nose

A few little plastic ducks

Small bright orange heartshaped cushion with my angel on

3 matching pot pig ornaments

And plaques, loads of plaques, those shabby chic with different phrases and that on. Haven't counted how many but they cover my bathroom walls and are in other different places around the house.

Oh and obviously the already mentioned cat cushion
