Good for him, but I can't help feeling that if this was done in Britain he'd be straight to prison for knife crimes, and the perpetrators would get compensation, counselling and a free house.

The gurkhas dont get the credit they deserve. They live for the british army and its their dream from growing up to be accepted into it (Was chatting to a guy from nepal on holiday who tried for the army but got refused for having a scar)

My grandad was in the navy in the korean war and spoke very highly of them for their bravery and skill. Infact he nearly got his throat cut by one as he couldnt even hear him coming. All was fine after he said something like 'Alright Johnny'.

Totally seperate issue i know but i always think highly of them.

In this case, it just shows the guys bravery. Highly commendable. No woman should be treated like that.
