What, if anything, are people getting for their partner's on Valentine's day. I (fem) have no idea what to get my better half.

We just do token gifts. I always get jay a box of violet cremes as they are his favourite

I think it's lovely when you know what the other likes. It was just his birthday so got him a really special present for that. Birthdays are more important to me, but he's not a chocolate man really

I like your thinking, I may well be there doing that as well

Seriously it's so over rated and a waste of money, and I'm not saying that because I'm single. Do something meaningful but I just don't get why people go overboard one day of the year....people should be able to show that they care about their partner everyday

I've bought my partner a book on the subject he studied. I'm now worried he won't like it. I've a good card though.

I'll probably pay for dinner on Sunday to compensate for the crap book he'll hate.

That is very true, we have managed to get a child free weekend too this weekend which will be lovely. Maybe nothing but a lovely meal and the 2 of us will be wonderful
