No - we have some where I work. They have a sensor which stops them from revolving if they think that somebody is about to get squashed.

I've lost count of the number of times I've not been paying attention whilst using them and have smacked my face against the glass pane as it suddenly stops.

...and it's always when there are loads of people around

Yep, I managed to get a copy of the CCTV footage. Cause the security guards were pissing themselves at my misfortune

its a bit risky and the only one ive ever used is in the marks and spencer in oxford street.... only available to staff so that might be a problem ...but its a nice thought !!!
