Haha that's funny. Apparently the prev owner was told mine was a girl initially, he was called Penelope and wore a pink flower. I was going to call him Desmond ( Penny & Desmond from Lost) but he's really not a Desmond and still answered to penny so he's called Pepper as it's similar lol

I have 3 boys.

2 tabby brothers almost 3 years old, 1 now has 3 legs, had a front leg amputated last Easter after badly dislocated his elbow. But he still runs and jumps out windows

And my newest I've had 18 months, a pure black adopted from a lady on here. The cat is a blooming idiot with the nick name of DW = Death Wish.

I have a cat called Pepsi and she thinks she's a dog. I rescued her from a family who had an allergy issue a year ago and I'm pretty sure it was love at first sight for both of us. We have a mutual adoration thing going on.

She steals my mail from behind the door, plays fetch and runs to the door when the buzzer goes. She likes properly rough cuddles like a dog does and comes running from the other side of the room when I pick up her brush. Proper weirdo!

Aww sounds lovely.

That's why I went for a ragdoll cat. I love both cats and dogs and I heard ragdolls are more "dog like" and mine sounds like your cat, he loves company, follows me around the house, comes when he's called, he's much less aloof than other cats I've owned x

Anyway.

One I've had since she was six weeks old, she's now nine, shes called sugar and has a serikis heart murmur but you would never know. Buttons the only boy big white thing around 7 but nothing known about his history he's been here about 5 years now, has gone from not being in the same room as anyone to being around all the while and curling up with the others. Angel, very petite and jet black she's about 10 she's been here about 4 years, think she's lady muck, not completly antisocial but she's the only one that doesn't curl up with the others.

I had an old lady tigerlily who I had for about 3 years she was always frail but I got her arthritis as under control as possible. She was between 18-20 when she died.

Then I got autumn, 16 no teeth. Bloody lovely cat and had fitted straight in with no problems and curls up with the other two she's only been here since December but seems like forever.

Then the one I'm getting tomorrow is 14 won't name her till I see her she's smokey black rather than jet black and I can't wait to nurture her and have her fit in. I do k is she's good with other cats

Yeah she comes when she's called too. It's a bit odd cause she doesn't really do aloof. There's none of that normal cat behaviour which is fine with me.

Don't forget to change four to five in your profile

There's a cat cafe in Nottingham, a normal cafe but with lots of cats roaming around. They're all strays up for rehoming, you can interact with them and choose the one you want (or do they choose you )

I'd love to go but know there'd be a strong probability is come away with at least another, and Dave's only just coming round to the idea of the one we've got

Yup, my little shithead is eleven this year and has been through two previous homes. The first she was abused, the second she was notorious for fighting with the dogs and so she got pawned off on my mum.

Five years later she's settled in and very vocal and physical about her affections...

And impatience! lol

Mine's a 15 year old Birman called Gilbert (or Bertlebum). Most ragdolls are largely Birman so he gets mistaken for one and has all the Birman traits like being a vocal, attention seeking lapcat who wants lots of fuss and cuddles.

I had a brother and sister Siamese duo who were very affectionate but extremely vocal. When they passed on I then had two sisters who were Tonkinese. Very playful, affectionate and vocal also. In the winter I would find them under the duvet snuggled either side of me, my very own hot water bottle. Sadly, they too have gone now and I miss them terribly. I would love to have another cat but just can't face all the upset when they fall ill and have to be put down. Just a big softie at heart.

"I had a brother and sister Siamese duo who were very affectionate but extremely vocal. Just a big softie at heart."

Aww that's the downside to pets, ((hugs))

I have a 7 year old grumpy, anti-social but quirky and gorgeous ball of grey/black/brown fuzz called Echo. Everyone loves him but he doesn't love them

He's mah boy!

"...is a very beautiful fluffy ragdoll cat

He's eight months old, i've had him nearly a month now, rehomed him after his previous owners found one of their children was allergic to him.

We use to have a Birman car years ago and most recently a ginger and white female who never grew much . Everyone thought she was a kitten, she use to terrify our dog lol.

Any other cat people on here? "

If anyone is interested I know a site for catlovers its a facebook site and basically as it says its all about cats photos, funny photos, updates on cats you can post as many photos as you like and write about them as much as you like.

And everyone on there loves cats.
