Is there such a thing?

Years ago I was led to believe sky news were the most accurate, but these days it's a joke, who do you trust to provide facts without agenda?

Any medium reporting the news will be biased in some ways. Either overtly biased in their opinions, or inherently biased in terms of what news they report.

How often do we hear news about certain countries and not others, for example? Not all biases are political.

Anyway, it's best to get your news from multiple networks and media.

on the road to nowhere in particular

Depends on the subject, the BBC is reasonable, channel 4 has an obvious left wing bias, ITV seems to be aimed at a younger audience than newsround, Sky blatantly pushes the Murdoch empire agenda, same with fox. CNN are first with reporting the news but never have a clue about what is actually going on other than they are first to report it. For Middle East news, you can't beat Al Jazeera. That's why the Arab governments keep arresting their journalists.
