Or do you live in the now or a healthy mix.

I'm talking music, movies, art, fashion or grown up toys like cars.

Personaly I have a good mix in my life, I love led zepplin and AC/DC, but I like avenged 7x, and black veil brides, I love classic cars above modern cars, but I prefer modern art, and my musical instruments consist of old guitars and valve amps, but modern digital effects pedals.

What about you lot?

Music

Very much in the past, there is only a couple of modern day artists I like and by modern day I mean last ten years or so. I wouldn't even know who or what was popular.

Fashion

I don't think I'm fashionable or unfashionable I wear what I like for everyday.

I do have an interest in vintage fashion especially 40s 50s 60s.

But remember getting a beautiful 60s dress with all the petticoats from a secondhand shop when i was 17 and loving that dress so nothing has changed there.

Art

Do you mean as in paintings? If so I've always gone for traditional art.

Technology, I've started to make progress in my little world and started to see that certain things can make my life easier.

Where's as I would of said,no point don't need it. Now I will have a look at it and not right things off without a thought

Oh and movies, that is just a case of if I like the look of something I will go and see it I wouldn't go and see a film because of the uptodate special effects or such

Horsham

Music bit of both, as I still listen to Jean Michel Jarre, but also Rammstein.

Cars you can't beat the old sturdy beetle over the more modern crap.

Motorcycles for me, you can't beat a two stroke 500, yes they were awful handling but they had character.

Oh and I'm not into cars, but if I was at a car show or something or just see one driving by I'm more attracted to classics.

In fact this thread has made me think I should be stuck in some time warp

I love classic cars, no engine management lights. But the bodywork is tough to maintain in our climate.

Music is a bit mixed but cars... Mostly I like older cars... I like the simpler days of less electronics... I love the beauty of the older cars.... Yes some new cars I look and think that's nice.... But with the exception of a few super cars, there are few cars now I look at and think oh yes I want x

Music - both classic and modern, love the old classic rock and old school hip hop but also like the new artists pushing the genres such as knife party or skrillex.

Cars - I've got a modern 2013 civic full of digital amps, headunit, Bluetooth equaliser and space age style sound deadening although I love the old jap cars from the 90s..got very close to buying an R32 skyline last year.

Art - not a huge follower of art, but Bob Ross is the dog pyjamas!

Music instruments - very much modern, my drums are kitted out with zildjian Zcustom cymbals and my production gear is korg, main drum machine uses valves, but runs alongside touchscreen effects processors and samplers.

A fine balance of both for me

My first car was an old-skool beetle.

Wrote it off going off road

trees and cars don't mix

My dad still sold it for a profit though

"Das ist gut?"

Central

I love some older stuff, such as architecture from Art Neuveau and Deco and post war design. But generally in the here and now, despite my hoarding tendencies for stuff I've picked up. Music, now.

Think as you get older you live a little in the past music was better you think about old Friends and wonder what happened to them,

Think the old swinging seen was better when we started 35 year,s ago when it was contact magazines you had to put pen to paper no waster,s then.

Yes people had conversation then not just on there bloody phones sat in public texting all the time notice young people none can talk just mumble
