Yup... out in 20 mins until 3am... home for 3 hours sleep then back out until 11pm tomorrow.

well at the moment im just about to watch a film - my daughter has gone out and told me she would be back about 4 am - soooooooo so i stay awake and then grab some kip before i go on a late shift at 2 pm or try and get a couple of hours kip and risk not being able to get back to sleep (i know i will be half awake probably until i know shes back or will wake up anyway when she comes through the door )

Awake due to a slight adrenaline rush about twenty mins ago. I'm sitting watching TV quietly when I hear a scratching at the communal front door to the flats. I thought it was the wind but it continued and got louder and more desperate. I realised someone was attempting to break in. I had to do something so I grabbed a kitchen knife, went into the hallway and opened the front door expecting to find at least one burglar. Luckily it was just an upstairs neighbour, d*unk as a Lord and unable to locate his keys! Fortunately he was too tipsy to notice the large knife I was brandishing! Anyway I've finally managed to get hold of his flatmate to get out of bed and let him in, she ain't amused.

Anybody else had anything random happen to them tonight?

I have an alternative to the brown paper bag,that is more discrete than looking like a horse using a nosebag. I've done that,with the balcony doors open,to cool down. Now I'm waiting for the adrenaline to be used up,so I can stop shaking and sleep

It's a technique I was taught in group anxiety therapy. You hold the right nostril closed and breathe in through the left,then hold the left and breathe out through the right. Breathe in through the right,still holding the left closed and then hold the right closed and breathe out through the left,breathe back in through the left,hold the left closed and breathe out through the right. Repeat this,taking as deep breaths as you can and focus on a letter in the word relax while you do it. It works.
