What's the difference between a profile saying user no longer exists and a profile disappearing altogether?

If some one deleted their profile and you have messages from them in inbox it says user no longer exists right?

But an hour ago I was chatting to someone and now all my messages to and from them are gone. Is that blocked?

Gone altogether means admin have supended the profile and unlos means the person has deleted it

If it's completely gone, sometimes it's because the site removed all correspondence or the profile was banned/suspended by admin.

Why does it matter? Either way, you won't be interacting with that profile again. Just move on to the next one.
