I am thinking of replacing my.tablet as the contract for the one which I had on Vodafone has now expired .

My existing tablet is manufactured by Lenovo and has proved to be excellent with no faults .

If I buy one on the high street , it looks like I can buy a Lenovo 10 in tab for £120 or a Samsung Galaxy Tab E for £160.

Is it worth paying extra for the Samsung name ?..

Is there much difference between tabs .

Samsung Galaxy S2 Tab 8.0

Excellent tablet, the 4:3 form factor is excellent for reading web pages and e-books etc.

Surface Pro are without a doubt the best.

Samsung Tab are good if you want to be able to download stuff and have expandable memory.

iPads are good for ease of use.

But what about the budget ?

You can get a lot more bang for your bucks by not eating apples.

Besides, it's only worth it if you have a iPhone.

There's no point in mixing android and iOS formats.

. It is probably an expensive way of buying one . I prefer to purchase out right . This was sold as part of an upgrade package and linked to my phone .

As I only ever use the tab on Wi fi , a portable connection is not necessary .

I am happy to pay up to £200 .

Valid point I guess, for sure it's over budget and tied more to apple products, I do have the iPhone, and Mac, I have had android tablets previously but they were never as reliable as the iPad, but that is personal experience and the reason I went to Apple.

In that case either go for the Samsung, Lenovo yoga or kindle fire hd10

I have a bit of a dislike of Apple products in general (they seem to be only as good as any of my non-Apple products for less than half the price and greater adaptability - just as an example, a multi-way charger I bought for £5 on Amazon works for all of my Samsung, Windows devices, but will not work on Apple products because it isn't recognised as being Apple).

As for tablets, my Samsung Galaxy Note has been the best purchase I've ever made technology-wise. Loads of features, good quality and adaptible to my needs. It was expensive though, and its bigger than most seem to prefer for a tablet (10.1 inches) but perfect for me. I'd do some more research and find what suits you and your needs

stick with the lenovo yoga 10, its not worth buying the samsung, lenovo boards in the yoga 10 are excellent aswell as the engineering, has better performance and battery life aswell, the samsung is more likely to go faulty, especially the touch screen or battery.

trust i work for company that has all the returns sent to, samsung is very popular to be faulty, upto lenovo.
