Anyone ever unexpectedly spotted a famous person/celebrity when out and about?

I spotted Christopher Dean (of Torvill & Dean fame) wandering through Sheffield town centre a few years back

Anyone else?

I seem to have a unknown thing for The Bill.. reason being I've seen two of the actors (one was standing next to me on a train station platform), saw a group of them filming a scene at a London train station and was in communication with another for a short while but he has since moved to Nigeria and now married .

I loved that TV series so all a big deal to me

It didn't cross her tiny mind that I genuinely might not have a clue who she was. Unfortunately for her my manager was about as clued up on popular culture as I was so he didn't have a clue who she was either which only made her angrier

I don't really do random meets, more just walking past people at work (possibly more than I realise as I have no idea who some are)- did pass the lead singer of Black Stone Cherry in his PJ's recently- think he'd been for a pee (or something more chunky) and was going back to the tour bus.

Used to see Rat from Neds Atomic Dustbin in the pub- playing pinball

Last year we saw Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Kool and the gang while in Hollywood during some music awards thing so probably not too random. Bradley Cooper was sat at the side of us in his convertible at some traffic lights and I shared a lift with Jerry Springer in Vegas.

A fair few footballers. Beckham, Tim Howard, Brad Friedel, Diego Forlan, Carlos Tevez and Claudio Reyna. Others...hmmm...Donnie Osmond is the only one I can think of. Oh and one other so called comedian who I refuse to name as shouldn't even be a celebrity. He's an unfunny prick on tv and worse in real life, that's all I will say.

And I bumped into Kevin mccloud from grand designs in the lift in a hotel in Cardiff, when I worked in a hotel on the M25 about 9 years back razor ruddock stopped and even though I reconigsed him I still asked for some ID as he paid with cash, we had Tony Adams stay too.

Seen and met a few celebrities but the best was about 30 years ago when I got on the London tube at Cockfosters, it was an empty carriage except one guy sitting at one end reading a motorsports magazine. I immediately recognised him...Murray Walker and we chatted all the way into the centre of London. He was a real gent, enthusiastic as ever about his sport and quite happy to speak to a 20ish year old scruff without any hesitation or prejudice, simply sharing a conversation with a fellow petrolhead (ironically on public transport).

Great guy!!
