Matt le blanc is joining Chris Evans on BBC top gear later on in the year!

I like Matt Le Blanc, and I like Chris Evans. But I prefer Clarkson, Hammond and May.

If they weren't calling it Top Gear, I wouldn't mind so much.

I think he'll be good, he's a big car fanatic and it seems like he knows his stuff, he also got the best ever time around the track. I do t think they'll attempt to make it anything like it was with Jezza and co, they'll have to reinvent it totally. Forget about the old format and give a chance I say.

It's been done with an eye to US sales.

I don't think it will be a patch on the previous trio and I'm expecting it to be a dumbed down, American TV friendly format.

I guess we'll see

I just can't see him as a presenter, although he has done a top gear special, which I've not seen, he was also the fastest in "a star in the reasonably priced car", so he can drive.

I think they're going for a completely new format now, I'll watch out of curiousity, but still prefer jez et al.

I would normally agree with you on that statement but then the Beeb opt for another fucktwit worse than Clarkson.

I wasn't a huge fan of Topgear because the focus on cars changed to family TV viewing with added comedy. What a load of bollockstuff! .

Now they've got a ginger twat hosting it. Great!

I personally don't like Evans but it's unfair to judge until I see at least the first show.

Top Gear has had many metamorphoses over the years. It may have been overdue in some people's minds. Personally I feel Jay Leno would have been better than Le Blanc

Should of axed the show instead of trying to look good by putting an ex friends star to host it

I will be watching the new show on Amazon with clarkson may and Hammond they were the perfect trio despite clarkson being a knob it was his nature , you either loved him or hated him but the viewing figures showed he had a lot of fans that the BBC will lose in this new format

The show was built around Clarkson making an idiot out of himself, Hammond trying to beat all and May being May...

Mr Radio Man is too self centered and wants to be the centerpiece on everything ... So the show will flop

Again "Political Correctness" of the BBC has killed off something which didn't fit the political "left" and with that the Golden Goose which for years made millions for the BBC...

Oh but then again we (the BBC) will collect it from the OAP and for the others to pay more as we don't care about you the viewers at all but more about our own pension plans, our taxi expenses and going out to do other things instead of working according to the contracts.

Sorry the BBC would not survive a day in a free for all market like the USA, Germany or else where...

I think I'm not gonna bother watching it. I have 14 years of catchup to do so will stick with the original presenters.

I wonder what things Amazon have got in place to protect the people that work with him? Having rewarded him with more money for doing what he did.

We find it difficult to watch anything with Chris Evans in/on, bell end.

Matt le Blanc? totally changed opinion of him after 'Episodes', for the better.

Someone mentioned Jay Leno, his head is enormous and would distract from the cars.

Rowan Atkinson would be good.

That Classic Car Show is appalling, the presenters are like funeral directors on valium. Cars tend to be good though.

I know Evans is supposed to be a petrol head but he's pure textbook and autocue, no character.

Matt Le Blanc is like a bargain basement Yank seemingly brought in as a jab at Clarkson.
