As a single person, I have to have the day off.

By the time the postie has delivered a sackful of mail, and I have waded my way through it, hopefully without too many paper cut injuries, the flowers start to arrive and I Never have enough vases!

I also have to remember to take my antihistamines cos of all the pollen, whislt ensuring that the dog doesn't get hold of any of the tons of chocolates that also arrive!

i beg to differ.

it's one of the days i'm glad i'm single. not having to buy cute fluffy bears carrying heart shaped balloons that say " i love you " on them. the cards, the flowers and the meals and all the other stuff.

that said the sex is always a bit more fun but it's a lot of hassle i'd rather do without.

i don't need a special day to tell someone that i love them or do i need a present or card to say it for me.

although if any of you ladies are reading i like to be told i'm special with a bottle of j/d and a sweet n sour chicken cantonese style.

Valentine's Day has got fook all to do with love. It's all about earning brownie points.

A few silly flowers and a box of chocs with a card telling them the things you say every other day anyway is a guaranteed recipe for a fookin good blowjob. She can't refuse cos she knows full well that next year she'll get a bottle of Mr Muscle and a pack of J cloths.

last year i made such a fuss over it, bought all the stupid things like rose petals, heart shapped champagne flutes, heart shaped candles etc... cooked a steak with all the trimmings and he came home and said 'im off to the pub with the lads'

Going up to London on the Sunday morning on the train to celebrate Valentines with hubby, he is working on the Monday evening at Fulham so we will be having our Valentines meal on the Sunday night.

Meal at our favourite London restaurant then on to a show.
