Been on Brookie and Hollyoaks, worked in theatre with Sinbad lol worked on an indie film that was going to star Tim Roth's son Jack, but he backed out because of pay. Played gigs at the Cavern during Mathew St festival.

Worked at Associated Press for a few months, interviewed at Jim Henson's Workshop in Camden (there wasn't a job to get, I just wanted one so they were kind enough to give me a go).

Otherwise met Bruce Dickinson, Bill Oddie, Richard E. Grant, Christopher Eccleston, Alex Cox and Eddie Izzard in some strange situations

I was the basis for one of 6 main (ish) characters in a 1990's television serial...and no,I am not telling.

When I was 16, I worked Saturdays in a wallpaper and paint retailer in North London. I served Clifford Rose, who played Kessler, the SS chief in Secret Army and he was polite to me and did not even hint about shipping me off to a camp for special treatment. He bought some paint stripper.

I also served Martin Shaw who was in the middle of his 'Professionals' era. He wanted some white spirit....and he didn't run around kicking in doors.

Nigel Hawthorne often walked past the shop but never came in.

I can only assume that they wanted the products for getting stage paint off........and Nigel didn't need the stage make up!

Okay, got a few so here goes...

Swapped Xmas cards with Sandi Toksvig for a few years... we had/have a shared interest...

As a result of my career since 2001, I have conveyed in my car:-

Phil Tufnell (nice guy)

Mad Frankie Fraser and 2 of his 'associates' (absolute gentlemen and gave a a mahooosive tip!)

Nigel Farage - twice (who didn't try to recruit me as a UKIP candidate - thankfully!)

As a result of the job I did between 1992-99....

I saved one Home Secretary from having to resign..

Got to meet and socialise with most of the Peers in the House of Lords.

Got tipsy with Ann Widdecombe and the former Head of MI6..

And.... here's my big gun.....

Performed a unique 'service' for HM The Queen Mother... and got to have tea with her privately as a result at Clarence House. Absolutely lovely lady.... who paid more attention to the horse racing on her two telly's than she did me!!!!

I also met Bill Bryson, Ainsley Harriot and Nigella Lawson when they did signings at the bookshop I worked in.

The weirdest was last June, seeing David Guest and a body guard emerging from a Smart car outside a bar in York whilst on my step sister's hen do. He was very spaced out but friendly enough.

my best claim to fame is that during the late '70's and early 80's when I used to play truant a lot, me and my cousin used to hide out at Andy Rourkes house. I met Steve Jones (Mrs larks favourite star) outside Anne Summers in Cardiff while he was filming something for a show. I had my photo taken with him and sent it to my misses who was inside the shop looking for a new vibrator. She came running out the door with a vibrator in her hand shouting "where is he?"

Thankfully, he had already moved further up the street!

Met a number of PMs, Michael Jackson, Anthony K lead singer from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ian Rush and Will Carling. But not all at the the same time. That would just be weird.

When I was a coach driver I picked up the Shaktor Donetsk team from Gatwick and chauffeured them around for a few days when they played Arsenal in the Champions League. When I told them that I was an Arsenal fan they genuinely believed that I would do something to sabotage them.

I've taken Sylvester McCoy to hospital, got pissed a few times with an 80s/90s pop star, David Essex has bought me a pint and saved me from a horde of his fans, an old land lady was in an ep of Game of Thrones, Boy George stood on my foot in a club. Had a v deep chat about trans issues with Richard O'Brien (he flashed me his tit) and my fave is Clare Grogan from Altered Images sang their Happy Birthday to me, on my birthday while standing on a table holding a birthday cake! In our apartment block near canary wharf we have 6 or 7 premiere league footballers (Chelsea - Arsenal - West Ham) hubby could tell you their names, I can't, we were going down in the lift one night all dressed up to the nines and I let out a massive fart (better out than in) and horror or horrors lift stops at next floor and 2 of these footballers get in (snd were hubbys fac team) so my claim to fame is 2 Chelsea players have smelt my fart

I'm not proud of that one, and hubby gives me a don't you dare look every time we go into a lift

Had several dates with the ex wife of the man who scored the winner for Sunderland in the 73 cup final......and tonight in my bar the son of wrestler Jim Breaks was singing....he cleared the bar.
