Another help topic but this time I need help or advice to get spilt coffee off a cream carpet! I've tried Vanish, Bicarb of Soda on its own and with vinegar (don't ask) and none of that has worked. I can't really afford to get in professionals or hire a carpet cleaner, but I may have to. Does anyone know of anything at all that I could try just once more please? Thank you x

What about hiring a carpet cleaner machine? Some supermarkets rent them.

Groupon often have professional carpet cleaning deals, too.

NeverWhere

dr googgle / good house keeping

Blot up as much of the coffee as you can. Then, mix one tablespoon of liquid dish soap, one tablespoon of white vinegar, and two cups of warm water. Using a clean, white cloth, sponge the stain with the mixture. Apply a little bit at a time, blotting frequently with a dry cloth until the stain disappears.

thank you, I probably will have to, but wanted to try one more thing before I do. After all its only coffee, there must be something that will shift it!

I've used 1001 carpet cleaner on makeup stains, worth a try for coffee. You should be able to get it in a supermarket.
