Blackout blinds

Anyone got them

Sick of bloody sunshine shining on telly when we trying to watch somat

Someone recommended them but always assumed they would be black on one side

Any help appreciated

They're not black, they have a light block lining to stop the sun shining through, we have them in our daughters bedroom to stop her getting up at 4am in the summer.

I have a black out roller blind in my bedroom as I work shifts and sleep in the day sometimes. It was from Hillary's, they don't have loads of colours to choose from but as the poster above said, they're not black, both sides are the same colour.

I got some blackout curtains a while back from Dunelm,I don't know what they coat the lining with that gives it the black out but it smelt horrible and I chucked them away
