I didn't know this one was a "Report"able option did you? Could be a harsh one to report someones profile for...

Say if someone got narked with you because you wouldn't meet them... and they report you on this option? Are admin then going to message you and ask for the details of what went wrong... hum...

I don't really get the whole reporting someone to Admin for not turning up.

What are they going to do about it?

On a site this size, with that many members is just stupid for them to get involved. They would spend forever getting one side of a story. They're not seriously gonna follow that up.

I thought that report button was a very interesting addition. I can only guess admin will look to see if someone is repeatedly reported for this and then inve3stigate. I do hope admin look into things in some depth though and not just take someone’s word for it or the button could be used for some very malicious purposes.

I would guess that fab admin will look to see if there has been mail between the 2 people and if the mail contains any hints or negotiations to meet. I also hope that admin will look at things and if there is no proof one way or another they will not take action against the person being reported.

As long as it works both ways for the reported and the reporter then it could be a very useful addition button.

i dont think anyone would get banned on one persons say so but maybe if someone did a no show and you reported them the site can just take a note of their name, then if a few weeks later someone reported them for not showing, then someone else the following week maybe they could get banned

im not saying thats right or that should happen im just saying from a logical point of view i woulds imagine thats the idea behiond it

at the end of the day some reasons are genuine for cancelling meets last min or not showing, i know people say theres no excuse but if you had an emergancy at home with one of your kids or something the last thing your going to do is think about calling someone off here up, i know situations like that are very few and far between but they do happen

i had a guy not show once because his mother had died, and to be honest i really couldnt hold it against him as i wouldnt expect to be on someones mind in a situation like that

there is another site i use that has a meeting booking system for people to use.

rather than reporting it would make things a lot easier if we could book a meet through some similar system and then if someone did not turn up you could leave a comment.

just a though

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

That would involve publicising every meet, wouldn't it?

only if you booked it through the system and made it public.

as long as something like this was available it could act as a deterrent to the habitual timewasters who i'm sure we all get fed up with
