Best bit of kit you've bought

Looking at the tools thread made me think of useful things we have bought.

About a year ago we got one of those Turnkey water boilers to use in the van when on site. When we changed to a better van it became redundant so we put it in the kitchen at home. It holds 5ltrs and hardly uses any lectric but we can have a hot drink any time without waiting for the kettle or a bit of hot water for a wash-up.

Definitely one of our best buys.

A most beautiful 1926 US edition of Marco Polo's Travels. The whole thing is shot through with beautiful monochrome art deco prints.

I'm surprised that no one took it apart just for the pictures.

£2.50 in a charity shop.
