There are one or two certain individuals in this forum that seem to think they are the know it all of everthing and get upset and start name calling when someone should as so much dare disagree with them.

Crass best thing to do is just ignore them. Pretty much law that some can insult and name call who they want at will without any repurcussions from the forum mods.

I love Duffy and his girlfriend Sharon was a right sort. I wonder what ever became of Dennis & Frankie Abbott,they were my favourites.

I have not bitched about anybody just been insulted by a certain person in posts simply because she took offence to my opinions. i note her posts were not removed or was she messaged asking to refrain from name calling, as she continued to to post abuse.

I note your a moderator and you appear to be defending the person in question.

There are more than you 2. It didn't pass my notice and there will be others i am sure. There is a definite bias at times. Maybe comments saying so will be removed as they don't meet approval!

That's interesting. You *appear* to be saying that the mods will remove posts just to cover up evidence and protect some perceived "chosen few".

Quite a strong allegation - one best made by contacting Admin, as opposed to snidely dropping it in to the forum, I'd have thought.

I wasn't defending anyone.

I was asking you how do you know if someone was insulting another person that a mod hadn't taken action.

I also said there is a problem about bitching on these forums when someone disagrees with another on a thread, all hell breaks lose...then they won't let it drop and carry it on in another thread.

Funnily enough, exactly what you were doing.

Maybe it is best if you try reading peoples posts instead of changing what they say to suit.

I agree..but happily for the mods and members, Admin can still see any posts that were removed, so they can decide if a mod was out of order if a report goes in.

The CONTACT button is at the bottom of the page, then click on the 8th option down. Admin welcome feedback and always check it out as moderators are moderated also.

If it is something on the forums give them as much info as you can plus maybe the thread name, that way they can find it easier.

May I suggest you go back and read the thread in question again and realise you have it totally wrong.

YOU were not called sexist, the person you are making snide comments about on this thread was called sexist by someone else, who all happened to quote a very long post that had a few posts on, and yours happened to be on it.

Oh dear. The "snide" remark wasn't aimed at you, it was aimed at the person I quoted. From reading other posts on this thread, it would appear that you have made this exact same error on another thread previously - assuming any criticism or negative remarks are aimed at you.

Yes....I`ve been pondering that for half an hour ....

The confusion and misunderstanding that arises from not quoting properly ....I`ve been guilty of posting on the tail end of a post....that had 3..4..5..different posters opinions on it...

It creates a real challenge to disseminate a misunderstanding sometimes ...or even a viewpoint ...sometimes when just one line is taken from a post...possibly taking it out of context....

I`ll take that on board.....

I have to pull you up on that as your understanding of grammar seems to be lacking. I was not being snidely I was being quite open in my views and not underhand at all which can’t be said for you. What I was being was sarcastic which something you are well aware is of. A better example of acting snidely would be when someone hides their verifications with the hope that others do not realise they have a vested interest in defending another member.

The matter of me appearing to suggest mods would remove posts to cover things up are well off the mark. I think what I said was “Maybe comments saying so will be removed as they don't meet approval!”. Now there is little confusion with that sentence, it had nothing to do with covering up anything it was myself surmising that not all posts are removed for being offensive more the fact some posts are removed because they are just not liked.

Ill say in here as I said on another recent thread

The mods on here are also moderated,we don't just remove posts because we don't like them,there is usually a good reason to remove them,if you don't agree with that reason then please report them to admin via the thread,their profile or the blue contact button at the bottom of the page giving as much info as you can

If admin think there is something to look into they will let us know about it
